Two articles in The Lima News on Thursday brought a smile to my face. First off, I appreciate the words of wisdom written by Lessie Long, “Prescription for Growing Old.” I cut it out and have it displayed in a prominent place. I plan to read it often and share it with others.
I also loved the story on Lima’s new honorary police officer, Maleek. What a great story and such a sweet little boy.
With such negativity in today’s society, it was a pleasure to read something uplifting.
