While Republicans rant about birth certificates, Muslims, Mexicans, and for some reason, bathrooms, President Barack Obama has been busy actually running the country.
Consider the following:
America is now in the longest stretch of private sector job growth in history. Unemployment is at record lows. The number of uninsured is at record lows. Inflation is at record lows. The Dow Jones has more than doubled, gaining more than 100 percent of its value. The S&P 500 is at record highs. Your pension plan loves Obama. The deficit has been reduced by two-thirds, almost a trillion dollars. The auto industry just had its best year ever. Home prices have returned to pre-crash levels.
Imagine what could be accomplished if Republicans would stop drilling holes in the bottom of the boat. If this is socialism, we need eight more years of it. I’m with her.
