I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to the Auglaize Township trustees for the stupid statement I gave to The Lima News reporter after the election. If I would have remembered that our governor balanced the state’s budget by taking local money away, I would have voted for the new tax. Our local townships do provide residents with many important services that we cannot provide on our own.
