As the parade of pro life self congratulation continues, let us pause to question why is pro life only about telling a young, often poor girl, what to do? When will pro life find the courage in our region to have the moral conviction to stand up to the water disaster and realize that a life with clean water and a cancer free existence is also a right to life — anti-abortion, clean-water and a cancer free life is “pro life.”
