Concerning the story “Poverty to American dream a tough road” that was published Jan. 31 in The Lima News:
If some or all of the senators and congressmen and a few other politicians would give up some of their pay, we could have had a raise in our Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
I get $733 a month to pay rent, buy food and pay my other bills. I would love to our politicians do that on $733 a month.
