Many thanks to the kind young lady who rescued my poor old cane from the middle of a busy Fort Amanda Road.
Unthinkingly, I’d set it on the roof of my car as I loaded myself and parcels inside, then drove off with it still there. Needless to say, it didn’t stay. I got turned around and pulled over and attempted to make my way to it, but I was too unstable on uneven ground to get there without toppling over. She not only managed to miss hitting it, but pulled in and performed the rescue for the tottery old broad!
