Kenneth and Peggy Windle

LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Windle are celebrating 75 years of marriage. Their anniversary was celebrated in their home, which they built 70 years ago. They attribut their long marriage to God at the center of their marriage and loving each other no matter what. They are thankful for the years God has given them.

Windle and the former Peggy Hughes were married August 1, 1948 at High Street United Brethren parsonage by Pastor Maurice Gribler.

They are the parents of three children, Sherry Safrit of Wilson, NC; Pam (Curt) Meyer of Oak Forest, IL and Angie (Bob) Meyer of Lima. They have 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Windle and his wife are both retired.
