Mr. and Mrs. Richard Presar
LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Richard Presar are celebrating 70 years of marriage with an open house at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3 at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 101 Perry St., Wapakoneta.
Presar and the former Carol Joyce Avery were married Feb. 28, 1954 at High Street EUB in Lima by the bride’s uncle, Rev. V.I. Sullivan and Rev. Frank Hamblim.
They are the parents of four children, Cindy (Jack) Preston, David (Linda) Presar, Jennifer (Kevin) Frische and Lisa (David) Mittelkamp. They have nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Presar is an owner operator truck driver and farmer. His wife is retired from Swonger’s Furniture City in Moulton.
