WAYNESFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. David Chiles are celebrating 50 years of marriager. The couple plans to enjoy a cruise through the western Caribbean.
Chiles and the former Darlene Sproul were married Dec. 8, 1973, at Waynesfield First Baptist Church by the Rev. James Puz.
They are the parents of one child, Russell (Nicole) Chiles, of Chagrin Falls and four grandchildren. A son, D. Andrew Chiles, preceded them in death.
Chiles retired as the Utilities Superintendent for the Village of Waynesfield.
His wife retired as Director of Adult Education at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.
