BLUFFTON — Mr. and Mrs. John Kopp are celebrating 60 years of marriage with a private family dinner.
Kopp and the former Karen Keiser were married Oct. 26, 1963, at Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Bluffton by the Rev. Ralph Quellhorst.
They are the parents of two children, Shaun Kopp and Amanda Davis; and five grandchildren, Haley Kopp, Ian Kopp, Ethan Frankart, Makenzie Badertscher and Ryan Davis. A daughter, Denise Kopp, preceded them in death.
Kopp retired from Procter & Gamble. He and his wife co-owned Eastside Apts., located in Ottawa. It was formerly known as Lee Bell Motel. Kopp helped rebuild Eastside Apts.
His wife retired from Eastside Apts., where she was a financial secretary.
