LIMA — Mr. Charles (Bud) and Mrs. Cleola Long are celebrating 70 years of marriage with a private family dinner.
Charles (Bud) Allen Long and Violet Cleola Zimmerman were married on April 19, 1953, at County Line Church of the Brethren in Harrod with Reverend Walter Landes officiating.
They are the parents of four children: Julia (David) Lawrence of Lafayette; Cindy (Tom) Hollander of Ann Arbor, MI; Monica (Dean) Birchmeier of Loudon, TN; and Linda (Mike) Taber of Harrod. They also have nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, with another grandchild deceased.
Bud is retired from P&A Industries in Findlay. Cleola is a homemaker.
