LIMA — Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Smith are celebrating 50 years of marriage.
Smith and the former Jane E. Jett were married June 24, 1972, at Grace Baptist Church in Lima by Pastor Sam Canine.
They are the parents of two children, Matt (Lerma) Smith and Mark (Lisa) Smith. They have five grandchildren.
Smith is retired from Procter & Gamble.
His wife is a homemaker.
