The Mother’s Day week in Lima had so much to offer.
Starting with the Woman’s Wellness Seminar at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s. Excellent. Bravo, St. Rita’s.
Encore Theatre’s “Four Weddings and Elvis” was very good.
Regal Cinema’s showing of “Book Club.”
The Met was open on Mother’s Day, with Liz sending you home with a boxed, homemade cookie. The staff was wonderful also. The meal was excellent!
I know so much more was going on, but I was so lucky to have my daughter think about me and take me to the above events.
Also, there were long-distance calls and flower deliveries from my son and grandchildren. Mothers appreciate all the gestures.
Acknowledge your mother while she is here with you. Thank you, God, for my family. Special thanks to my daughter, Leslie Schuh.
