2 men sought over Lima robbery

LIMA — Lima police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect believed to have taken part in a robbery on Wednesday evening.

According to police, officers responded at about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday to the report of a robbery inside an apartment at 305 E. Eighth St. Upon their arrival, officers learned the victim, a 22-year-old man, had been lured into the apartment by two females. Once inside, the victim reportedly was assaulted by “three or four suspects” who hit him with glass bottles, sticks and other items, according to a police report. The suspects allegedly stole cash, identification and a cellular phone from the victim.

Patrol officers contacted detectives, who prepared a search warrant for the apartment. The Lima Police Department’s SWAT team executed the warrant at about 11:20 p.m. Inside the apartment the two female suspects were located and arrested. Erica Lewallen, age 19, and Angelique James, 18, were taken into custody on charges of aggravated robbery.

Detectives are currently looking for the two male suspects, one of whom is a juvenile. The adult suspect is Antrell L. Blissett Jr., 20. Anyone who knows Blissett’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Lima Police Department or Detective Sean Neidemire at 419-221-5295.
