2 spared jail at Allen Co. Common Pleas Court

LIMA — Two individuals were spared jail time and were instead placed on probation during appearances Wednesday in Allen County Common Pleas Court.

Joshua Rohn, 35, of St. Marys, was sentenced by Judge David Cheney to three years of community control on a fifth-degree felony charge of theft. Rohn was also ordered to pay restitution to Walmart.

Brittany Boneta, 26, of Cridersville, was sentenced by Cheney to two years of community control and ordered to serve 60 hours of community service on a reduced charge of permitting drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony. Boneta originally was charged with trafficking in heroin and permitting drug abuse.
