WAPAKONETA — Local author Pam Egbbert, whose pen name is Samantha Sheridan, has been given permission by the American Quarter Horse Association to use the organization in working with Montana Silversmiths to release a Silver Heart Necklace for the book.
“The Silver Heart” book will be released worldwide. Pete Oen, a former Auglaize County resident, is a horse trainer in the book. Jaime Quellhorst, of Wapakoneta, is the model for the front cover of the book and she is also the main character of the book, Sue.
Egbert will sign books with with Oen at the All American Quarter Horse Congress at 10 a.m. Oct. 28 in Columbus, Montana.
