Lanes to close on I-75 today as traffic rerouted

LIMA — Expect lane closures on Interstate 75 beginning today in the vicinity of the state Route 65 interchange as crews work to reroute traffic out of its current contraflow pattern and back to its regular configuration.

Starting at 7 p.m., the concrete barrier on northbound Interstate 75 in the contraflow area will be removed. This will cause the right-hand northbound lane to be closed, as well as the northbound entrance and exit ramp at state Route 65. This closure will continue into Saturday, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

The barrier wall in the southbound lanes will be removed starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday continuing into Aug. 13, restricting traffic to one lane. Southbound entrance and exit ramps at state Route 65 are not expected to be affected.
