OSHA course to be held in Ottawa

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce, Rhodes State College and West Central Ohio Manufacturing Consortium are collaborating to bring a OSHA general industry certification course to Ottawa.

The 10-hour course will be held from 5 to 8:30 p.m. June 1, June 8 and June 15 at the Putnam County Educational Service Center. The program is intended to provide an entry-level worker with general awareness in recognizing and preventing hazards in an industrial setting, according to a press release.

Pre-registration is required for all participants. The registration form can be found at ottawachamber.org., and the deadline to apply is May 25.
