April 8

Donald R. Gee, 52, 302 E. Sugar St., Continental, pleaded guilty to attempt tampering with evidence and possession of marijuana. He faces up to 48 months in prison, $5,250 in fines and six-months to five-years license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10 a.m. May 23.

Joseph K. Patton, 27, 16440 state Route 224, Kalida, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs (heroin). He faces up to 12 months in prison and 2,500 in fines and six-months to five-years license suspension. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 3 p.m. May 19. A charge of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.

April 12

Shana L. Saldana, 34, 848 W. Wayne St., Lima, was sentenced to the WORTH Center for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included failing to make payments toward her court financial obligations, failing to obey orders issued by her supervising officer on Dec. 9, 2015, and testing positive for morphine March 29 in Lima.

April 14

Scott R. Szurminski, Luckey, and Hannah J. Mowery, Continental, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married March 21, 2005 in Toledo, and have one child.

Scott Kech, Continental, and Elizabeth Keck, Defiance, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married June 18, 2015 in Ottawa, and have no children.

April 4

Russell L. Sehlhorst, 36, 306 S. Second St., Kalida, pleaded guilty to persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $150 fine, and pay restitution of $71.13.

Byron D. Hutchins, Jr., 24, 1951 Woodhaven Drive, Fort Wayne, Ind., pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of vehicle. Sentence: 180 days jail, 138 days suspended, $100 fine. A felony charge of theft of theft was dismissed.

April 7

Monte I. Allen, Jr., 31, 430 Charles St., Lot 11, Spencerville, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. Sentence: 30 days jail, 13 days suspended, $250 fine, and one-year probation. He also pleaded guilty to an amended charge of menacing. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, suspended, must complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center.

Kelly S. Cross, 44, 20174 Road 21, Fort Jennings, pleaded no contest to OVI and was found guilty. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, and assessment at Pathways Counseling Center, and credit given for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of turn signals was dismissed.

Kevin A. Keirns, 28, 307 S. Second St., Kalida, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of menacing. Sentence: 30 days jail, 20 days suspended, $250 fine, complete assessment at Pathways and a 26-week batter-intervention program.

April 11

Wade M. Thompson, 35, 704 Michael Ave., Lima, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: $400 fine. A charge of display of registration is dismissed.
