FINDLAY — The Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Findlay Police Department Emergency Response Team, arrested two people on drug charges after executing a search warrant at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday.
The search warrant was executed at 927 Putnam St. Apt. G., Findlay, and a search yielded powder cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a large sum of cash, and other items indicative of drug trafficking. As result, Keith Hartfield, 43, of Toledo, and Heather L. Hoover, 41, who lived at the address. Hartfield was charged with possession of cocaine, a fourth degree felony, and possession of heroin, a fifth degree felony. Hoover was arrested on a fifth degree felony charge of permitting drug abuse.
Additional charges of drug trafficking are expected, pending laboratory results.
The incident remains under investigation.
