LIMA — The Lima Fire Department will be flushing fire hydrants in the city during the month of May, according to a release from the department. Depending on weather conditions, flushing may continue into June.
As hydrants are flushed, residents may notice changes in water pressure as well as discoloration. If any discoloration is present, residents are advised to run the cold water tap until the water clears, and any laundry should be postponed while discoloration persists.
