BLUFFTON — A faculty recital by Dr. Da Eun Choi at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 2 in Yoder Recital Hall. The recital will feature pieces by Mozart, Brahms, Debussy and Liszt.

BLUFFTON — “Social MEdia: The Challenges and Possibilities of Authenticity in the Digital Age,” will be the forum topic presented by Dr. Tasha R. Dunn, associate professor of communication at the University of Toledo, will share at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 in Yoder Recital Hall.

• The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday raised its community risk outlook for Allen, Auglaize, Hardin, Putnam and Van Wert counties from low to medium, during which those at risk for severe COVID illness are encouraged to wear a mask in crowded, indoor places.

LIMA — A Lima man was arrested Wednesday in the shooting death of a man in a northwestern part of Lima, according to a press release from the Lima Police Department.

LIMA —The West Central Association of Realtors 2nd annual affiliate open house was held at the Lima Veterans’ Memorial Civic & Convention Center on Thursday. Over 45 vendors related to the real estate industry participated in this event, which was open to local realtors to connect with home service businesses, trade show style.

LIMA — A Lima man accused of participating in a drug trafficking ring in 2021 is attempting to suppress evidence from his case.

LIMA — U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) stopped in Lima to engage with residents of the 4th District. Jordan also paid visits to Mansfield, Union County, Logan County and Hardin County before arriving in Allen County. The congressperson joined a Lima-Allen County Chamber of Commerce meeting Thursday morning to talk business.
