In the past, a kids historians group in Cridersville was created. When the president of the Cridersville Historical Society, Greg Myers and Sean Heights, of Cridersville Elementary, spoke two years ago, they were both thinking about a second iteration of the group.

Lovewell Institute for Creative Arts staff to teach youth in Lima

LIMA — Sixth Ward Council member Dr. Derry Glenn has invited JJ Parkey and Carlos Cardova from the Lovewell Institute for Creative Arts to Lima. The two artists will stay in Lima from March 13 through Saturday. They will host various workshops throughout the week teaching students about theater. Parkey and Cardova will end the week with a presentation at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
