Annual Ohio Victory Gardens program underway

HARDIN COUNTY — The Ohio Department of Agriculture and Ohio State University Extension offices are hosting the annual Ohio Victory Gardens program.

According to a press release, the program will be available across 64 counties. The program provides seed packets at each office.

Seeds are now available at the Hardin County OSU Extension office, 1021 W. Lima St., Kenton. The seeds contain carrots, cucumber, lettuce and sunflowers.

Seeds will also be available at the Master Gardeners plant sale, scheduled 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, May 20 at Friendship Garden, 960 W Kohler St, Kenton.
