LIMA —The Lima Music Academy is asking for funds to pay teachers, following an announcement at Wednesday’s Lima Press Briefing.
Teachers at the academy volunteer at the organization to teach music to young students in the community, but the academy is asking for help funding the teachers’ income for their work and to partner with other community organizations.

Teachers instruct students at Trinity Lutheran Church, but the academy wants to host lessons at Bradfield Community Center and North Middle School.
