ADA — David Lusk, a teacher at Ada High School, received teacher of the year honors Thursday night from Varsity Brand School Spirit Awards.
Lusk, a chemistry and physics teacher, recently finished his 43rd and final year of teaching. His school spirit can be seen through his participation with quiz bowl, as student council advisor, director of the Veteran’s Day breakfast, science department chair and more. He is present at every band and choir concert, parade and sporting event.
