NORTHWEST OHIO — The Black Swamp Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America named Alexandra Patterson as its next exploring executive. Patterson will connect youth from 13 Northwest and West Central Ohio counties with local businesses and work experiences.
“I am a fierce believer we have a duty to leave the world better than the way we found it, and I feel that starts with raising generations who are happy, passionate and driven,” Patterson said in a press release. “When you expose youth to new experiences and ignite that fire within them, it’s a feeling they carry with them throughout life.”
