LAFAYETTE — The Lafayette-Jackson Historical Society is now accepting requests for veteran banners. A veteran of any member of the Armed Services that has ties with Jackson Township and Lafayette qualifies to apply.
Older banners are still on display but some become faded. New banners are available and have pictures of the veteran available in color or black and white. The picture will be displayed on the front and the back. The material is made of UV ink and nylon tear-resistant vinyl. Each banner is $70.
Order forms are available by emailing [email protected] or pick up at the county bulletin board near postal boxes. The historical society requests those ordering to make the ‘veteran banner’ the subject of the email.
Veterans have until Dec. 31 to order. The banners will be on display from Memorial Day until the fall.
