McCOMB — The state fire marshal’s office is seeking public assistance in relation to a fire that was deliberately set Feb. 28 in McComb.
The fire occurred at 7:02 a.m. at the Northwestern Water and Sewer District in a watershed dispensary building. After the fire was extinguished, it was discovered that the watershed had been broken into with an undisclosed amount of money stolen.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
