CRIME OF THE WEEK

Allen County Sheriff deputies were investigating the theft of an antique English Enfield Martini .303 rifle dating back to 1871 from a home in the 5200 block of East Road in Elida. The theft occurred between March 30 and July 20. The weapon may have been sold to a local antique gun buyer.
