KALIDA — Three regional groups will be the recipient of funds thanks to a roundup program with Paulding Putnam Electric Co-op, which raised $12,000.
Cub Scout Pack 221 in Kalida will receive money to use to build a new Pinewood Derby Track. Neighbor Link of Van Wert will get money to help families or individuals in desperate need of repairs to their homes. And Covoy Preschool will get money to replace one of its main floors.
The roundup program is a community service program that provides funding for charitable programs. Members of the co-op have the option of rounding up their bills to the nearest dollar and 75 percent participate. The $12,000 was raised in three months.
