The regents, a higher education advisory board, hosted its meeting at Rhodes as one of its members, Kurt Kaufman, is from Lima and it hadn’t been to the area before.

On Wednesday, the board saw the college’s buildings downtown, which will soon be a health science campus, and saw some of the welding and other programs.

On Thursday, at the meeting, college president Debra McCurdy and Richard Woodfield, vice president for academic affairs, presented on the future downtown Center for Health Science, Education and Innovation.
