STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — The Big Ten Conference banned Jim Harbaugh from coaching at Michigan’s three remaining regular-season games on Friday, defying a warning from the second-ranked Wolverines in an extraordinary confrontation over a sign-stealing scheme that has rocked college football.

COLUMBUS — Matt Duchene scored the go-ahead goal in the second period and the Dallas Stars rallied from a two-goal deficit, beating the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-2 on Thursday night and snapping a two-game losing streak.

DAYTON — St. Henry dropped a 25-22, 25-14, 25-20 Division III state semifinal Thursday to Mentor Lake Catholic at Wright State University’s Nutter Center.

CLYDE — The Ottovlle Big Green boys soccer team found itself in a familiar place Wednesday night at Clyde High School where last week it defeated Kidron Christian to get to the state semifinals.

OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf senior Colin White signed his national letter of intent Wednesday afternoon to play basketball at The Ohio State University. White was surrounded by his family and teammates in the Ottawa-Glandorf media center to celebrate the occasion.
