Greater Lima Region joins business alliance in Auglaize, Mercer

WAPAKONETA — The Greater Lima Region Inc. is investing in the Auglaize Mercer Business Education Alliance, a private organization representing regional business, education and service groups to further workforce development in Auglaize and Mercer counties.

“Finding qualified employees is a major priority of many businesses in our region, and the work AMBE does builds a foundation for a robust workforce,” GLR President and CEO Doug Olsson said in a statement Wednesday. “GLR believes this investment will further AMBE’s mission of providing programs that connect students to career opportunities in our region and sustaining the future by identifying workforce leaders of tomorrow.”

GLR made a similar investment last week in the Wapakoneta Area Economic Development Council.
