WAPAKONETA — To encourage further private development in the region, Greater Lima Region Inc. has joined the Wapakoneta Area Economic Development Council as an investing member.

“We are very pleased to have the GLR become an investing member in WAEDC,” WAEDC Executive Director Greg Myers stated in a press release. “Being one of Ohio’s first Job Ready Sites, it has always been our goal to bring regional economy shifting projects to western Ohio. We are proud to be a partner with GLR in attracting more capital investment and job creation to the greater Lima region — working together, we all succeed.”

“GLR takes a broad perspective on economic development. We believe that job creation and business vitality cross geographical boundaries. In today’s world, it’s not uncommon for an individual to reside in one county and work in another. We intend to strengthen the connectivity of our region through collaborative partnerships,” GLR president/CEO Doug Olsson stated in a press release.
