LIMA — The Lima Police Department has released the name of the individual who was killed Monday in the 1800 block of Mound Road.
Lucinda A. Wright, 76, was killed Monday after suffering multiple stab wounds to her torso. An extensive search by police led to a suspect, Daniel Wood, 24, of Lima, after he was located using Wright’s vehicle in the area of Market and Metcalf streets in downtown Lima.
Wood was taken into custody without incident and is charged with suspicion of murder.
