Road construction and maintenance projects

ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75, northbound between State Route 81 and Bluelick Road, will be restricted to the left (passing) lane for bridge work. A contractor will perform bridge repairs and painting on the Bible Road overhead for approximately seven days.

State Route 66 and Cleveland Street in the city of Delphos closed on May 2 for approximately 200 days for full-depth reconstruction. Visit the project webpage: PID 108644

The closure will occur in the following locations, access to properties within the work zone will be maintained.

  • Main St. (SR 66) between Suthoff St. and First St.
  • Suthoff St. (SR 66) between S. Main St. and S. Franklin St.
  • Cleveland St. between Canal St. and Franklin St.

TRAFFIC IMPACT

Detour: State Rd. to CR 213 to SR 697, back to SR 66 (see map).

State Route 117 in the unincorporated community of Westminster will have traffic impacts and lane restrictions for an improvement and resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained via flaggers. Visit the project webpage: PID 109435.

UPCOMING TRAFFIC IMPACTS

  • Mcpheron Rd. at SR 117 will remain closed until SR 117 is complete.
  • Brentlinger Rd. is expected to close on Monday, June 19, for approximately 3-4 weeks.
  • SR 117 is expected to close in August for approximately 150 days.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

CONTINUING IMPACT:

State Route 720 Chip and Seal – Expect lane closures on SR 720 in both directions between SR 65 and Auglaize/Logan County line from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. starting Monday, April 24 to Saturday, September 30. Traffic will be maintained with cones and flaggers. Crews will be completing pavement repairs.

State Route 364 Chip and Seal – Expect lane closures on SR 364 in both directions between SR 274 and SR 219 from 7 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. starting Monday, May 22 to Monday, July 31. Traffic will be maintained with cones and flaggers. Crews will be completing pavement repairs.

State Route 67 Chip and Seal – Expect lane closures on SR 67 in both directions between CR-25A and SR 65 from 7 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. starting Monday, May 22 to Monday, July 31. Traffic will be maintained with cones and flaggers. Crews will be completing pavement repairs.

UPCOMING IMPACT:

State Route 198 Culvert Replacement – SR 198 will be closed between SR 197 and Buckland Holden Road from Monday, July 10 through Wednesday, July 21. Crews will be replacing two culverts.

  • Detour: SR 197 to SR 66 to S St Marys Rd to E 4th St

HARDIN COUNTY

State Route 31 between Township Road 180 and Township Road 265, three miles south of the city of Kenton, closed on April 27 for approximately 60 days for a bridge replacement. Visit the project webpage: PID 118842

TRAFFIC IMPACT

Detour: SR 292 to SR 273, back to SR 31 (see map).

State Route 67 in the city of Kenton, between Wayne St. and Morningside Dr., will be restricted to one lane for resurfacing.

County Road 75 between State Route 81 and Township Road 30 will close on Monday, June 19, for approximately 150 days to replace the bridge over Hogg Creek.

TRAFFIC IMPACT

Local detour: SR 81 to CR 65 to TR 30, back to CR 75.

State Route 385 between the Auglaize County line and the village of Roundhead will have lane restrictions for pavement repairs.

PUTNAM COUNTY

State Route 65 at the railroad crossing between South Street and Main Cross Street in the village of West Leipsic will close on Monday, July 17, for approximately five days for railroad repair.

TRAFFIC IMPACT

Detour: SR 109 to SR 613, back to SR 65 (see map).

State Route 109 will close on Monday, July 24, for approximately two weeks to replace two culverts. The culverts are each expected to take one week; since the same detour will be in effect for both locations, the detour signs will remain in place over the weekend.

TRAFFIC IMPACT

July 24-28, just south of the intersection with County Road H.

July 31-Aug 4, approximately .15 miles south side of the intersection with County Road H.

Detour: SR 613 to SR 65, back to SR 109 (see map).

County Road H, just east of State Route 109, will close on Monday, July 17, for approximately five days for a culvert replacement.

VAN WERT COUNTY

U.S. 224 between Hoaglin Center Road and State Route 637/Stemen Road will close on Monday, July 24, for approximately 75 days to replace three culverts. One culvert will be replaced at a time, working west to east. The first two culverts are between Hoaglin Center Road and Slane Road; the third culvert is between Slane Road and State Route 637/Stemen Road.

TRAFFIC IMPACT

Detour: SR 637 to SR 114, to SR 127, back to U.S. 224. (see map).

State Route 81 between State Route 118 and the Allen County line will be restricted to one lane for pavement repairs.
