LIMA — Local business Alter Ego Comics represented small businesses in Ohio at the Meta gathering in Washington, D.C., recently.
According to a recent press release, Alter Ego Comics owner Marc Bowker joined Bo Lacey Construction owner Kevin Lacey in meeting U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan, R-Urbana, to talk about social media advertisement.
“The Meta gathering allowed me to meet with other like-minded entrepreneurs while learning how to put Meta’s marketing tools to use for my company,” Bowker said in a press release. “Since this was my third year at this conference, I continued to learn more about how these tools can help small businesses. I expanded my network and picked up valuable skills. I’m honored and humbled to have been selected to represent Ohio’s small businesses for this event and look forward to supporting my fellow business owners in the coming years.”
