Building hit, three people injured in Lima collision

LIMA — A two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon at the corner of Market Street and Jameson Avenue left three people with minor injuries and sent one vehicle into a nearby building.

According to the Lima Police Department report, Austin Boch, 21, of Lima, was driving a 2019 Subaru eastbound on Market Street when his vehicle was struck by a 2013 Chrysler, driven by Lori Harris of Ada, which was southbound on Jameson Avenue and failed to stop at the traffic light at the intersection.

Harris’ vehicle continued after impact and struck a building at 939 W. Market St.

Boch was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Ashley Collins, 28, a passenger in Harris’ vehicle, was taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Another passenger, Aaron Bruce, 24, of Detroit, also suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
