With sunny skies most of the week, it’s no wonder the roses are blooming in our garden.
Rose: To Mother Nature. We can’t recall another week in mid-April that was as perfect, with 70-degree temperatures and minimal rainfall. We hope you enjoyed it, as the next seven days look more like a typical Ohio spring.
Rose: To Dennis Hefner, whose Lima institution Hefner’s TV will close at the end of the month. Your family delivered great service to the community for 68 years, and we’ll miss your commitment to service.
Rose: To the new owners of the Lima Mall. We’re optimistic Kohal Retail Investment Group can breathe new life into the 57-year-old Lima Mall and turn it into a modern shopping and entertainment facility the region can appreciate.
Thorn: To seven staff members of the Rustic Cafe in Delphos, for serving underaged customers in the popular bar. The people working in a bar know better than anyone else what the rules are, and they must follow them better.
