June 30

Jason P. Schnipke, 43, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to amended count of trespass in a habitation, felony, and menacing by stalking, a misdemeanor. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines for the felony charge and six months jail and $1,000 in fines for the misdemeanor. The state agrees to dismiss a charge of criminal trespass provided he plead guilty to a probation violation in Putnam County Municipal Court. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9 a.m. July 25.

July 5

Jose H. Hernandez, 23, McComb, pleaded guilty to attempted failure to comply with order or signal of officer. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 1 p.m. Aug. 29. The jury trial scheduled for July 19 is vacated. Hernandez is also to pay $950 restitution before sentencing. Charges of felonious assault, resisting arrest and criminal mischief were dismissed.

July 7

Matthew R. Stateler, 41, Ottawa, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for attempted intimidation. He was given credit for 133 days served.

June 27

Steven R. Cramer, 54, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of criminal mischief. Sentence: 60 days jail, 59 days suspended, $150 fine and complete a mental health assessment.

June 30

Patricia A. Tippie, 28, Lima, pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Sentence: Six days jail, $100 fine.

July 5

Ethan J. Yinger, 31, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, $50 fine, sentence to be served consecutive to other case.

Shane M. Sponsler, 42, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to assault. Sentence: 180 days jail, $50 fine.

Amanda M. Ringler, 37, Payne, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of no operator’s license. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $50 fine. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

July 6

Christian R. Zuniga, 19, Hamler, pleaded guilty to assault. Sentence: 180 days jail, $100 fine. He also pleaded guilty to criminal trespassing. Sentence: 30 days jail, $100 fine with sentence served concurrent. A charge of aggravated menacing was dismissed.

July 7

Craig J. Burris, 36, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to obstructing official business. Sentence: 60 days jail, with credit for two days served.
