Volleyball roundup: Crestview tops Leipsic in top NWC volleyball match

LEIPSIC — Crestview, ranked No. 5 in the Division IV Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association poll, defeated No. 4 Leipsic 25-16, 25-23, 25-21 in a Thursday night Northwest Conference match.

Cali Gregory had 13 kills, 23 assists, nine digs and three aces, Adelyn Figley had 13 kills and three aces, Myia Etzler had 11 kills and five blocks, Emily Lichtle had 15 assists, Ellie Kline had 15 digs, Kaci Gregory had nine digs and Kennedy Crider had three blocks for Crestview.

Danaysia Danzy had 12 kills and 12 digs, Karmyn Brough had 26 assists and six digs, Alivia Jones had eight kills and seven digs, Samantha Hazelton had 18 digs and Jaelynn Siefer had six digs for Leipsic.

The Knights improved to 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the NWC while Leipsic fell to 8-2 on the season and 0-1 in the conference.

Marion Local 3, New Knoxville 0

The Flyers won 25-17, 25-19, 25-20.

Grace Moeller had six kills and eight block assists, Nora Eckstein had 16 digs, Natalie Evers had four block assists and 27 assists, Rachel Kuether had five block assists and Chloe Ronnebaum had nine kills and nine digs for Marion Local.
