ONU to produce ‘Ugly Lies the Bone’
ADA — Ohio Northern University will produce the play “Ugly Lies the Bone” from Thursday, Feb. 29 through Saturday, March 2 at the school’s Stambaugh Theatre at 525 S. Main St., Ada.
Maple Festival scheduled for March 2
LIMA — The process of making maple syrup will be the focus of a Maple Festival hosted by the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District. The event will take place from noon-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at McLean Teddy Bear Park, 2004 N. Dixie Highway, Lima.
Grand Lake anglers bringing back crappie tournament
CELINA — A trio of anglers who call Grand Lake St. Marys home are attempting to revive a fishing tournament that by some accounts brought an estimated $4.8 million in tourism revenue to the region in the late 1980s and early 90s.

SWANTON – Allen County residents could hear sonic booms again today as the 180th Fighter Wing of the Toledo Air National Guard conducts a pair of functional check flights. Flights are scheduled between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and again between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
