LIMA — The process of making maple syrup will be the focus of a Maple Festival hosted by the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District. The event will take place from noon-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at McLean Teddy Bear Park, 2004 N. Dixie Highway, Lima.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the maple syrup making process, interact with educators, take a self-guided educational hike and enjoy local food trucks.
