Letter: The Lima News needs fair, balanced reporting on marches

Those in the journalism field pride themselves on “fair and balanced reporting,” at least they used to. Have ratings and public opinion put that by the wayside? It definitely has with the networks.

I feel it has with The Lima News. The networks gave only a few seconds with the Pro-Life march in Washington and minute upon minute in interview time for pro-choice opinions. The Lima News gave one picture for the Lima march and a picture and 45 inches of column space to the pro-choice march in Madison, Wisconsin.

That is blatantly biased. Or is the thought of more money following public opinion clouding your eyes as to what real journalism is about?
