LIMA — During the break between rain showers, Kessler Estates Senior Living had a ribbon cutting at 2075 N. Eastown Road. It was scheduled to coincide with the beginning of National Assisted Living Week, which was established in 1995 to provide unique opportunities for residents, their loved ones, and staff, to recognize the role of assisted living in caring for America’s seniors.

OSU extension seeks new space

LIMA — New office space is underway for the Ohio State University Extension program. The Allen County Commissioners met with the OSU staff and Allen County Fair Board to discuss expansion. The program is presently located at the Allen County fairgrounds under the grandstand. The office space of 714 square feet houses around 11 staff members.

Wapak schools seeking HOF applicants

WAPAKONETA — Applications are open for the Wapakoneta City Schools Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame. The deadline for new applications is Monday, Oct. 31. Past applications will be considered as well. The banquet will be held on February 11, 2023.
