BELLEFONTAINE — Recent Ohio Northern University graduate Kelley Lewis received the 2018 Catherine Freed Outstanding Senior Female Leadership and Service Award.
Lewis served as chair for the first two Out of the Darkness Walks at ONU, which raised money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She was editor-in-chief for Polaris literary magazine. Lewis also presented her writing at conferences including; the Ohio Valley Shakespeare Conference and the Sigma Tau Delta International Conference in Louisville, Ky.
Lewis plans to enter the Methodist Theological Seminary, Delaware, this fall to become pastor.
