Ada graduate receives U.S. Air Force scholarship

ADA — Jackson W. Conrad, son of Michael and Rochelle Conrad of Harrod, received an Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Scholarship to Bowling Green State University. Conrad is graduating from Ada High School.

The scholarship covers the costs of tuition and fees, an annual $600 allowance for textbooks and a monthly stipend for up to 10 months each school year the cadet completes at their college or university.

The cadet receives a bachelor’s degree and a 2nd Lieutenant commission in the Air Force. The cadet is required to serve four years of active duty. Pilots are required to serve 10 years.
