Two Vantage students recognized at Ohio competition

VAN WERT — Two Vantage Career Center students from Putnam County were recently recognized for their performance in the 2018 Skills USA Ohio State Championships at Sinclair Community College and the Columbus Convention Center.

Precision machining junior Adam Schnipke, of Ottoville, and senior Aaron Sealts, of Fort Jennings, were both recognized.

Schnipke finished first in the manual machining competition, and Sealts finished second in the computer numerical control milling contest. Both students competed against students from across the state.
