LIMA — Kindergarten Kamp is available again this year for children entering kindergarten in the fall. Students must be 5 years old by Aug. 1 to enroll in kindergarten.
The free program will help prepare children for kindergarten. Children develop socially appropriate classroom skills, do hands-on projects, and receive free lunch through the Lima City Schools’ Summer Lunch Program.
There are two sites for this year’s program: Heritage Elementary School and Unity Elementary School. Kindergarten Kamp is from 8:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. at Heritage and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Unity from June 25 to Aug. 2.
